I just received a lovely phone call from a woman in Ohio who purchased my book at a quilt show this past weekend in Lebanon, Ohio. She wanted to let me know how excited she is about it and that she can't wait to get started on a fracture of her own. She loved the pictures, the ideas, the attention paid to left handed cutting, and that comment about John being evil. She was also very happy to see something new and different to try her hand at.
If I understood her correctly the vendor she purchased it from had a sample hanging in their booth made from a panel. They had more copies of the same panel for sale and she bought some of those to work with. I requested that she send me a picture of fracture when it's done. I can't wait to see it!

It is, isn't it? That's the second phone call I've received from someone who bought my book (that's what I get for putting my phone number in it!). It's very gratifying to hear that I have accomplished my goals with it. As a teacher, I would have been very disappointed to hear that the instructions are not clear. So far I haven't heard one single complaint (though I'm sure there's at least one out there somewhere).
that comment about John being evilI am not evil. The preferred term is "good challenged",John
totally cool!
I am not evil. The preferred term is "good challenged", Call it whatever you like. You'll always be "evil" to me. 8:-)
