Road to Oklahoma 2009

Miles traveled — 594
Shops visited — 9
Being a customer/hopper instead of a shop owner/hostess — priceless

This is the second year in a row I've been able to do the hop.  For the first 5 years my shop was part of the hop and I worked three long hard days (not to mention all the work getting ready for the hop).  Yesterday afternoon and evening my sister Marcia, Darcy and I visited Patchwork Place, K's Quilting Studio, Prairie Quilt, The Quilting Post, and Oklahoma Quiltworks.  This morning we were up and on the road bright and early to make the 2 hour drive and be at Quilters Depot shortly after they opened at 9:00.  From there we moved on to Fabrics & More, Etc, Completely Quilted, and finished up at Sooner Quilts.  Now I just need to find some time to sew up all the fabric I bought.

What a fun thing to do! I hope you grabbed an onion fried burger at Johnnie's grill while you were in El Reno. Can't tell you how I crave those things sometimes.

I have been looking for patterns for the shop hop quilt from 2009. I believe it is the one that was houses and barns. I have seen the quilt in a couple of shops but when I ask abou the patterns they don’t seem to have them or know anything about them. Would you happen to have the patterns?
