Resolution Update

OK, so I haven't produced much work where my resolution is concerned.  It's been a very busy month.  My initial focus was getting the raffle quilt done so that we could start selling tickets at the OKC Winter Quilt Show.  That was quite a success, but it took a huge chunk of my time including 3 1/2 full days spent at the show.  Since coming back home I've been spending a good deal of time at the long arm machine trying to earn a few bucks.  I've also been working on a special project for my small group that will be revealed later.

Back to discussing the resolution — We do have some good news.  The VP of my quilt guild announced a challenge to all guild members at our January meeting.  The goal of the challenge is to complete as many UFO's as possible from February through July.  Points will be earned and prizes will be awarded.  This most certainly plays right into my hands, but could involve some rethinking of which projects go onto my list.

Here's what I have accomplished in the past month:

1. Mike & Holly's wedding gift — quilt, bind.

2.  Double Wedding Ring — finish piecing, quilt, bind

3.  One Block Wonder — quilt, bind

4.  Embroidered Butterflies — finish embroidery, design setting, piece, quilt, bind

5.  Fractal Nine Patch –  quilt, bind

6.  Old Thimbleberries shop sample — attach borders, quilt, bind

7.  Old Jinny Beyer shop sample — attach borders, quilt, bind

8.  Purple and Green Kaleidoscope — prepare back, make binding, quilt, bind

9.  Paula Nadelstern Kaleidoscope — quilt, bind

10.  Haunted Houses wall hanging — design setting, piece, quilt, bind

11.  Puss in the Corner — prepare back, make binding, quilt, bind

12.  Autumn Scraps — prepare back, make binding, quilt, bind

And I have been working on the embroidered blocks for #4.  I hope to have #1, 11, & 12 done by the end of February.
